WHAT IS H*SS?

『一套輕量化商用空間中的櫥櫃展架模組系統。』
H*SS是 HUEMON * Shelving System的縮寫。是 HUEMON 奇夢籽社計公司以循環經濟的商用模式所設計一款輕便環保的展示空間模組。

起源於一場對賣場紙展架的改造行動，我們設計團隊依據搖籃到搖籃 ( Cradle to Cradle ) 的循環概念，秉持永續產品開發設計的原則，不斷檢視對環保的定義。

以耐用的可再製塑膠展架取代既有的紙展架，運用環保再生科技打造出重複使用的展架，與通路品牌合作將廢材重生後再回到消費鏈變成循環經濟模式，除了可達到減少碳足跡、實踐綠色設計，更重要是找到生產與資源循環零廢棄之平衡方案。

Traditional paper POS display are not designed to be reusable and upcycled just for rapid form of sales promotion. But the easily-damaged quality is ignored. D-Series is designed to be made of single material and 100% recyclable. And its easy-assembled modular mechanism makes repair easy so four times lifespan longer than the paper one is expected. The business model will also focus on rental service to reach circular economy.

WHAT IS THE INSIGHT
自然資源一旦經開採就注定了單向的「搖籃到墳墓」之路：加工、製造、使用、拋棄、汙染。其中拋棄與污染成為最顯性的環保評估標準，材質一旦無法自然分解便會被大眾視為「不環保」；然而，所謂的「環保」可能根本不是我們所想像的那個樣子！ 讓我們試著尋找一個能具體評斷的指標，以共同的基礎來討論環保，這正是所謂的「碳足跡」( Carbon Footprints)。以「碳足跡」作為評斷基準，我們會發現所謂產品的「環保」應該從無到有的流程所有環節都納入考量，檢視每個過程所釋出的碳排放量。

H*SS空間模組是由三大特點設計的展示系統：

WHY WE USE PLASTIC

『傳統通路用的紙展架沒有被設計成可重複使用以及方便再製。』
其易損壞的特性常被忽視，但這在全球紙價上漲、重視零廢棄與減少使用一次性產品的趨勢下，暴露出其潛在環境問題。

以D系列輕型展架為例，一般消費通路常用的紙展架優點在於輕便、好移動且組裝容易，但是紙材製成並使用膠合的方式，零件損壞無法更換，導致產品汰換率高，平均使用壽命不超過三個月，在製造過程中使用的全新紙纖維材料更是排碳量極高，且紙展架的外觀經過印刷和複合上膜，淘汰後只能降級回收。

塑膠再生環保展架取代傳統紙展架，可減少製造過程中的碳足跡，不但降低二氧化碳的排放量，也可以減低樹木的砍伐數量。以一家台灣生活消費性品牌使用紙展量來看，淘汰紙展架就能減少100噸碳排放量、少砍625棵樹。

EXPAND D系列 輕型展架系統
秉持著循環經濟概念以搖籃到搖籃的工業循環為基礎，D系列輕型展架使用單一塑料製作讓它百分之百可回收，相較於紙材，結構創新上除了加上卡溝以替換海報來降低使用膠黏，更重視組合拆裝的方便性以及可輕易維修的特性，來達到產品使用期至少是紙展架的四倍以上。同時為了滿足商用的客製化競爭，可擴充的展示模組配件，如海報架、客製化桌板，可依廠商的需求作調整，商業模式更租賃方案來達到長期重複使用的循環經濟。

Based on the Cradle-to-Cradle industrial cycle to circular economy, D-series lightweight display system is made of the single plastic to make it 100% recyclable. Compared to paper, the betterment of D-series are not only assembling friendly but also easily to maintain in order to reach four times longer lifespan than the paper display. On the other hand, to fulfill the needs of commercial customization, D-series is designed for adaptability and upgradability such as add-on poster frame and customized table top. The business model also provides the leasing program to achieve a long-term re-useable product for achieving the circular economy.
